Directions |
| From Manchester Centre or M60 Junction 20. (Junction 20 has limited access from or to the West only) From Manchester Center head North on the A664 (Rochdale Road) passing through Collyhurst and Queens Park Road. Then through Blackley with Bogart Hole Clough on your right. You will then pass Victoria Avenue and the M60 at Junction 20 continue North past the M60 until you go down a hill to a large roundabout. Take the 3rd exit from the roundabout where you will see Warwick Mill to your right on the other side of the dual carriageway. From Rochdale or A627(M). From Rochdale centre take the Manchester road A664 and follow directions for Manchester. After passing through Castleton still on the A664 now called "Rochdale Road" you will negotiate a roundabout where the A627(M) meets the A664. Stay with the A664 Rochdale Road until you pass Hollin Lane on your right at a set of trafic lights. Shortly after Hollin Lane the A664 starts to descend a hill and changes its name to Long Street. At the foot of the hill is a large roundabout where you should take the 2nd exit onto Assheton Way. Proceed for 260 yards to the next Roundabout and take the 3rd exit which will take you past the front of Warwick Mill. From Heaton Park or M60 Junction 19. (Junction 19 has full access from or to both East and West) After passing Heaton Park on your left and Victoria Avenue on your right you will soon meet the roundabout where the M60 Junction 19 meets the A576 on Manchester Old Road. Follow the A576 passing Alkrington Woods and Rhodes Lodges on your right. You will soon come to a large roundabout where you take the 3rd exit onto Middleton Way. You will pass the Bus station on your left and come to another roundabout where you take the 2nd exit on to Oldham Road. Warwick mill is now on your right on the other side of the dual carriageway. From Oldham. Take the A669 Middleton Road from Oldham and cross over Broadway and though Chaderton where the A669 changes it's name to Oldham Road. Continue down Oldham Road until you come to a large roundabout where you take the 2nd exit which will take you past the front of Warwick Mill. By Bus There are several buses that pass through or terminate at the large bus station in Middleton. The most frequent of these being the No17 Rochdale - Manchester the No 163 Bury - Heywood - Manchester and the No 59 Shaw - Oldham - Manchester.
