2 coach local makes its way to the station	Howerd the first owner at the Heywood Model Railway Group seen operating his model during the 2001 Heywood Exhibition at Whitworth Civic Hall. The new middle section can be seen here (bottom left).
The local arrives at the station
Lauren Magna was a small "00" gauge layout (9ft x 1ft) was owned by club committee member Howerd Counsell. It is seen here during the March 2000 and March 2001 Heywood Model Railway Group Exhibitions at Whitworth. Howerd purchased the model after seeing it on display when it was a "visitor" at a previous exhibition. He has made some alterations to it making it a little more versatile, but the track plan remains much the same as the original. The extension to the model has now been completed by inserting another section in the centre which incorporates a crossover and short siding to a loco shed. (The size has now grown to approx 12ft x 1 ft). The model has now been purchased by club member Steve McGrath for use at his home. Howerd has now created a new N gauge model called Fishermans Dwarf
